Interesting new world

When you read so many books, it is refreshing to come across a new concept! I enjoyed it. I look forward to see what the fates have in-store for Ocean,Seth and Kyler.
I read a review for this that had said it was for a younger crowd. I say embrace your inner youth than! Interesting is interesting, no matter of your age. I hope others keep that in mind, I almost skipped this one because I always check reviews. Glad I gave it a chance.

This was a new concept, but it lacked executed. The book moved too fast, and the characters were underdeveloped. The protagonist was a whiny, naive little girl, and I wanted her to just grow up. The love triangle between Ocean, Kyler and Seth made no sense; how could she love either in such a short time? She met Seth for an hour, and she was in love. Actually, it was lust first, but that's too hypocritical, because God forbid if someone were to like her for her looks first.

Not Her Best Work

Better than some of her really old stuff, this just wasn't up to the Matefinder or Hive series. While the concept was rather novel, the story just seemed rather under developed as were the characters, as if it were an outline that was filled in, rather than a book that was written from the outline. Things just kept happening for no reason. Sorry, I'm curious how this story will develop, but I'm aching for the third Hive book and the new Matefinder series.
