An excellent, step by step process to making things happen

Like the book points out, I am one of those guilty of setting goals, some large, most small and then losing site of them because of daily distractions. This book is going to help me stay on track by breaking down exactly, the steps I should be taking to make those goals happen. It's simple to understand, and implement. This is the kind of book I will refer back to with every new idea or achievement I want to push forward on. Even if just a reminder, having it available so I can quickly go over the steps I need to make things happen. I also like the way it reminds me, if things dont go as planned, its just a signal to relook at the steps I chose and revamp where neded, but not give up the goal. This is an encouraging, positive approach, when things are not going as planned.

Planning & Achieving Goals Made Simple

I never knew just how complex every day tasks can be to plan. Most of us make decisions and plan our goals sub-consciously but this book puts a lot of in-depth information about how we do this into an easy to understand format. It allows the reader to make simple plans in order to achieve their goals with more success and more effectively.
On the first couple of pages I found this - "The better I am at planning and executing, the better the value, quality, and satisfaction I will achieve." This says it all for me.
If you want to be able to plan your time and achieve what you want, get this book.

This book has five very basic parts:
1. Set your goal
2. Measure or monitor your success in achieving the goal
3. Take sufficient time in planning out how to achieve your goal
4. Take time every week to review your progress and interact with your team of helpers
5. Don't give up
In my opinion, chapter 3 should have preceded chapter 2. Before you can monitor your success you have to of planned what your goal is already.
I gave the book 4 stars because it really lacks having a quality that motivate people to make changes in their life. I was really considering giving the book 3 stars because it is so short.
